Patti Griffin joined The Lee County Partnership for Children in 2012 as an Early Care and Education Specialist. She assists Child Care Centers in Lee County by providing Technical Assistance to help child care professionals provide the best care possible. She helps provide grant opportunities to child care facilities to achieve or maintain higher quality environments. She has a passion for encouraging child care professionals to get outside with the children and be active and have fun!

Prior to joining LCPFC, Patti worked at The Montessori School of Sanford for 15 years as Lead Teacher in the Preschool Program and went on to be the Director. She also worked in the Montessori Program at SAS Institute for 5 years.

She graduated from NC State with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Child Development from Meredith and earned her Montessori Certification from The Maria Montessori School of the Golden Gate in San Francisco, CA.

Patti was born and raised in Sanford and is married to Mike Griffin. They have two adult daughters. She enjoys hiking and being outside in nature. She loves working in downtown Sanford, seeing the growth and development it is experiencing and participating in downtown events .
