Professional Development Grant

The Lee County Partnership for Children offers a Professional Development Grant to afford Lee County Child Care Professionals the opportunity to gain a higher education. This grant addresses the need to decrease or eliminate barriers to and promote higher education. Education levels of child care professionals is now an integral part of the Division of Child Development’s Star Rated License. The Early Care and Education department encourages all early child care professionals to seek a higher education.

In order to apply for the Professional Development Grant, you MUST attend an information meeting and meet the eligibility criteria below:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be employed in a regulated child care facility and/or program in Lee County
  • Must be committed to pursuing additional education in early childhood
